ASIST (African School of Innovations Science and Technology) is an organization that provides international STEM and robotics education. We offer programs for students aged 4 to 21, focusing on robotics, AI, engineering, and entrepreneurship through hands-on learning

Holiday Program – Runs during school holidays with daily classes at our centers. School Program – Integrated into partner schools as STEM or Young Engineers clubs. Weekend Program – Held every Saturday as a supplement to both the Holiday and School Programs.

Does ASIST offer internationally recognized programs?Yes! ASIST’s curriculum is endorsed by the African Union and the Harvard Graduate School of Education, ensuring it meets international education standards. Our programs align with both national and international STEM curriculums, giving students a competitive edge in global innovation spaces.

ASIST programs are mainly in the Central and Western regions of Uganda, with several new centers being introduced in other regions to expand access to STEM education nationwide.

Enrolling in ASIST programs is simple! You can register through our official website, visit one of our designated centers, or contact our admissions team for guidance. Enrollment is open for the Holiday Program, School Program, and Weekend Program, allowing students to join at their convenience. Parents and schools can also reach out to ASIST through our communication channels for specific program details and requirements.

1. VEX Robotics Competition A global event where students design, build, and program robots to compete in dynamic engineering challenges. Top teams may qualify for the VEX Robotics World Championship. 🔗 Learn more 2. Uganda STEM and Robotics Championship This national competition brings together young innovators from across Uganda to showcase their skills in robotics, coding, and engineering. It serves as a qualifier for the VEX Robotics World Championship in the USA. 3. ENJOY AI Robotics Competition An international robotics challenge organized by the Federation of Global Youth Artificial Intelligence. It focuses on AI, coding, and robotics, helping students develop 21st-century skills. 🔗 Learn more 4. Technovation Girls A global technology entrepreneurship program for young women, encouraging them to develop mobile applications that solve real-world community problems. 5. Pan-African Robotics Competition (PARC) An annual event that brings together students from across Africa to showcase robotics and AI innovations while addressing African challenges. 6. International Greenwich Olympiad A prestigious STEM and innovation competition that challenges students to develop scientific projects and solutions for real-world problems. 7. SEAMATE (MATE ROV Competition) A global underwater robotics competition where students design and build Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs) to complete real-world oceanographic and engineering tasks.

Participation depends on the competition. For the Uganda STEM and Robotics Championship, anyone with a tech idea is allowed to showcase their innovation. However, for international competitions like VEX, Enjoy AI, and PARC, students must meet specific eligibility criteria and qualify through local or regional rounds.

Students can participate by applying through ASIST or visiting our offices for guidance. To stay informed about competition dates and application processes, they should follow ASIST’s official groups and communication channels. Some competitions allow direct participation, while others require students to go through qualifiers before advancing to higher levels.

STEM Tours are educational trips designed to expose students to real-world science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) applications. These tours provide hands-on learning experiences by visiting innovation hubs, research centers, industries, and technology companies. Students interact with experts, observe cutting-edge innovations, and participate in practical activities that enhance their understanding of STEM concepts.

Yes! ASIST organizes STEM Tours both locally and internationally to give students exposure beyond the classroom. These tours are carefully planned to align with ASIST’s mission of fostering innovation, critical thinking, and practical learning.
