ASIST’s Holiday Programs turn school breaks into unforgettable learning adventures, immersing young minds in the world of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. These programs are designed to bring excitement and inspiration into children’s lives by offering hands-on, creative learning experiences that build critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and teamwork.
From 9th to 20th Decembar, 2024 and from 6th to 25th January , 2025, ASIST transformed holiday time into a journey of innovation and discovery at Teddy Bears Kindergarten in Ntinda, Kampala and The Stoneridge School Nsasa Kiira. Its Designed for p7, senoir four and seniour six Vacists, our Holiday Programs introduces students to the world of STEM, blending hands-on learning with real-world problem-solving. Young participants tackle projects like building LEGO models, programming robotics, and designing electronic prototypes, each aimed at solving community challenges and showing how technology can create positive change.
“Our goal is to empower the next generation to think like scientists, innovators, and entrepreneurs,” said Maureen Karamagi, CEO of ASIST, which operates the Young Engineers Uganda program. “Through our program, we inspire critical thinking, creativity, and teamwork.”
