Young Engineers Uganda Inspires Future Innovators at Grace Project School in Naguru

Kampala, Uganda – 8th November 2024, Young Engineers Uganda, a leading STEM education program, conducted a successful marketing event at Grace Project School in Naguru, introducing students and administrators to the exciting world of robotics.
Led by Chief Operations Officer, Mrs. Caroline Kapere Tusiimire, the team showcased cutting-edge robots and their operations, captivating the audience.
Ms. Nanyonjo Allen, Head of STEM Curriculum, delivered an engaging presentation highlighting Young Engineers’ mission and programs.
Young Engineers Uganda was established in 2016 under the African School of Innovation Science and Technology Ltd (ASIST) by Journalist Arinaitwe Rugyendo.
The program aims to nurture the next generation of Ugandan scientists, innovators, problem solvers, and creative-thinkers through use of Robotics and LEGO after school curriculum.
Operating in 25 local and international schools across Uganda, Young Engineers Uganda has gained recognition for its innovative approach towards STEM Education.
African School of Innovations science and technology is dedicated in nurturing the next generation of STEM leaders aged 4-17 years of age through its flagship brand Young Engineers Uganda.
The event sparked enthusiasm among students and administrators, with the school promising to sign up for the robotics club.

Mr. Masanja Moses, Head of School, endorsed the initiative, urging students to join the robotics club. “Robotics skills will take you far, even if you don’t opt for science subjects,” he said, stressing the value of robotics as an additional skill.
Mr. Joseph also encouraged the administration to support the initiative, recognizing the potential for robotics to enhance students’ future prospects.
This event marks a significant step in Young Engineers Uganda’s efforts to promote STEM education and inspire innovation among Ugandan youth.
